Hazard symbols


Function: A corrosive substance is one that will destroy and damage another surface or substance with which it comes into contact. The main hazards to people include damage to the eyes, the skin, and the tissue under the skin; inhalation or ingestion of a corrosive substance can damage the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. The burn might often lead to vomiting and severe stomach-aches. Exposure results in chemical burn.





Why do you think is the symbol important?

It is important because if any chemicals are touched on our skin it will harmful for our skin.
